The Fountain

Like any miniature artist, I am absorbed in every layer of the
work and that confines both the concept and the technique itself.
Lately my works appear to have diverted back to an ornamental
style, a rather lit color palette against a black or dark ground
that highlights a simple concept ‘The Celebration of Life’, layered
visually. The planned series (suggestive Title- ‘The Fountain’)
focuses on the varying intensities of desires, the stages of
reproduction and eventually birth.
This concept does have underlying meanings that can be
deciphered when one develops a relationship with the piece itself
in terms of their gender, designated and desired roles, mirrored
in the form Society, as a whole.
